Another one bites the dust; bumper update

Well, It’s been another busy few weeks what with moving house and then having no internet access, meaning I’ve had plenty of time to get painting! First up on the update is a group of fully converted Rhinox Riders for a guy named Eric in Singapore. I’ll let the images do all the talking…

Next up I have a couple of items from my personal collection that I found the time to paint while I was waiting for confirmation of a colour scheme from Eric for the Rhinox Riders; Minimus Maximus and a Westwind Productions werewolf.

Moving on from this, I have a few images of my newly completed Dreadknight. Let it be known that I have been playing Grey Knights for a long time prior to the new codex and didn’t just jump on the bandwagon. But who wouldn’t want a giant kickass robot? I found that the GW kit was very static and, although the ankles were ball joints, didn’t give much room for dynamism.

A friend of mine asked me why the purity seals were all skewif, that’s because I was trying to create the image of the walker plonking its leg down on the pile of rubble and the pilot swinging the upper torso and blade to the right (bringing the blade across his chest) in order to get a clear shot with the Heavy Psycannon. Let me know If I pulled it off ok!

And last but by no means least, the first few models from my next commission, which is a bunch of Warmachine solo’s and mercenaries.

As always, C&C welcome.

Until next time

Ralph.

Radio Check

Just a quick post to let you know that I haven't gone AWOL again, we have just moved house and I have no Internet connection at home at the moment in order to upload pictures of the latest painting progress (There has been a lot, too.)

Expect a bumper update when I get Internet access at our new address - I will fill you all in on what I have been up to.

More Pirates!

I finished the Pirates for the Leeds Wargaming Centre today, and they can be seen below.

I have also purchased a Space Marine army from someone at my LGS and will be finishing them up and bobbing them on eBay. Havent started work on the blimp yet though!

Ahoy meharties!

Craig down at the Leeds Wargaming Centre eventually wants a set of demo forces for most of the major systems that he stocks. Having completed the Warmachine forces, the next on the list were the miniatures for Freebooters Fate. Following is a shot of the Ork/Gobbo crew that I have finished painting for him, and then a shot of the human crew that I will be painting later this week. Again the miniatures were painted to a standard level. Apologies in advance for the poor quality of the images, I think my camera might be on its way out.

Oh, and look what I impulse bought at the weekend mainly because it looked oh so shiny.

I'll be back later in the week with the Human crew for Freebooters fate
